What is Ascension?
Ascension simply means to ascend, or to “go up”. On a spiritual and metaphysical level it signifies the rising of our souls from the 3rd Dimension into the 5th Dimension. Jelalia Star of the Nibiruan Coucil describes Ascension as “...the process of changing one’s consciousness from one reality, based on one set of beliefs, to another. On a group or planetary level, ascension is the collective expansion of a state of consciousness (set of beliefs) to the point where that consciousness creates a new reality—a new state of being or dimension.”
Okay, so what is consciousness?
Consciousness is that which you are paying attention to. It is the beliefs that we base our existance on. It can also be described as your spirit/soul/essence and so on. To Raise one's consciousness we are lifting our attention to encompase other things. In this instance, we are lifting our awareness to the 5th Dimension.
What is the 5th Dimension, and what happened to the 4th?
First, let us discuss the 3rd dimension. Dimensions are simply states of consciousness – or, the things that we are paying attention to. We create these dimensions through manifestation. Once enough people collectively believe in the 'idea' it becomes reality.
In our current, 3rd Dimensional world, we pay attention to (and believe in) material, egotistical and physical things. Possesions, appearances, money, status, power and so on. We tend to only believe in the things that can be registered on one or more of our 5 senses. (hearing, sight, taste, touch, smell). The 3rd Dimension also holds onto the belief that this is all there is. We live – we die and that is it.
The 5th Demension leaves these material thing behind for a more collective experience. It understands the connectedness of everything and opens us up for a more expansive existance. In the 5th Dimension we create our own realities through manifestation on a much larger scale. Some people are already doing this, in our 3D world, they are already understanding the wonders of the 5th Dimension.
The 4th Dimension is one we are continuely moving in and out of. It is where our intiution is housed. The 4th Dimension is the realm of psychic and clairvoyant abilities. Where 3D is text-book knowlegde, 4D is intuitive knowledge. Everything we do and think interacts with and effects the 4th Dimension. Once we become more attached to, and familiar with our 4th Dimension we will be that one step closer to the 5th. This is not so much something we move into, but something we must acknowledge and bring into ourselves.
How do we Ascend?
If you are on this site this with the intention of learning more, you're probably already on your way. Part of ascension is the conscious acceptance of “something else”. The acknowledgement that there is more to our existance than life and death. Just to clarify, everyone has been given a “ticket to ascension” it's up to us to accept it. There is no lottery, there is no drawing of names. It isn't even pot luck. It's simply the conscious choice to make your way towards being more integrated with the 4th Dimension and therefore more accepting of the reality that there is a 5th Dimension. That's the easy part. The hard part is the letting go, and you will begin to do this in your own time. There is no need to rush out and quit your job or sell your house and live in a tent. Our journey will comprise of letting go of our material needs. You may have noticed that the collective consciousness is already trying to do this with the collapse of the stock market. We are shedding our need for material possesions. You will find that your interests and needs change as you move along your path to ascension. People may come in and out of your lives from paths you had never expected or even acknowledged before. You may find yourself opening up to other realities, other people, other experiences, other ways of loving, living and enjoying your time. This is all part of Ascension.
When will this happen?
There is much debate raging over dates. We love dates in our 3D world. Dates make us feel in control. We can plan for a specific Date. There are 2 dates that you will find popping up around the topic of Ascension.

October 28th 2011.
It is not up to us, at this site, to tell you which one of these dates is the correct one. Both of these dates come from the Mayan Calendar. They are simply two interpretations of the cycle. The Mayan Calendar is the “cycle of consciousness” and it ends to make way for a new one. For more information on the Mayan Calendar and the corresponding end dates see the Videos Section.
What will happen?
The truth is, no one really knows for sure. There are a multitude of theories, and if you google “2012” you will get pages on pages on pages of information. Over time, we will try to collate the most popular theories and list them here.

I knoew about December 21st 2012, but I haven't heard of October 28th 2011. Do they both talk of the same one event? or should we expect two events. Perhaps a precursor to the december 21st event or something?

I'm still working on the FAQ's If you watch the Ian Lungold videos he explains the 2011 connection. It's basically Dr Carl Calleman Vs John Major Jenkins debate over the dates. I'm still trying to find somone who goes through the calendar in as much detail as Ian Lungold does in SUPPORT of the 2012 date so I can put that up here too as a reference.

4th dimension is awareness of the ego, we become aware through the quickening of the manifestations of the power of focused thought,
this is mind to heart process,
5th dimension is awareness of the soul, we learn to listen to our inner guidance our heart through focusing on the hearts desires in the now moment where we are connected to the all,this is heart to mind process.LOL

Dates are portal openings that allow light in for our assistance we will collectively create once we tune in through the heart in love with each other and co create together our ascension so it is up to us when although it looks like a Divine plan has put it before 2012 but ultimately it is our creation as to what we create and when this is why star beings are assisting us as they are us we are one this is all our Divine plan.
